DUS - Energy Training
The Electricity Report.

Example 2.
With Half-Hourly meters, our pricing report may look slightly different as there will not be as many options provided.

  • Please Note that not all suppliers will accept max demand and half - hourly meters.
  • Half hourly meters usually have higher usage, therefore larger costs.
  • When dealing with larger figures, it is worth noting that the "Difference %" is small i.e. 7.63% but the "£ Difference" is quite large i.e. £5,631.18.
  • In this example we are recommending a 2 year contract with Haven Power to lock in their prices and gain security over the next 2 years.
  • There is a £3,214.73 increase with this client which is 4.35% more than they are currently paying. This client's renewal from their current supplier was around 8 - 12% increase.
  • Remember prices for energy are always on the increase, so we can often find ourselves quoting more expensive prices than what they are currently paying but the prices that the client is currently paying are no longer valid and will end at the end of their contract.
