The Rollover Trap!

As your client approaches the end of their energy contract, they will hit a renewal window – a period of up to six months during which they are free to change their supplier or renew their existing contract.

Most energy consumers are unaware of this window and could find themselves being “rolled over” into a more expensive contract rate that locks them in for another contract period, or they find themselves in an ‘out of contract’ rates, which can be significantly higher.

This is likely to add up to significantly greater costs and of course, should they miss their renewal window next time, the rollover will happen again and again.

This means that, unless they remember exactly when the contract terminates and negotiate a new contract before that date, they will be stuck with an extremely poorly performing contract.

We are able to assist clients to avoid the roll over trap, as when a client agrees a new contract with us, we will automatically submit the termination for the client and diary to approach the customer at the start of their renewal window so this never happens to them again,
