The way we get paid is by adding a small uplift on top the energy pricing structure that we receive from our energy suppliers.The art is pricing at a level that is lower than the suppliers and other brokers so while making a profit, the customer is still receiving a good and fair price.

The uplift is a small amount that is placed on the pence per kWh which means the more your client uses, the more commission you will earn. The uplift is always included in the price so its not seen as an added extra. As long as its a cheaper or better price, the client will be happy.

We do not earn commission on the Standing Charge that the client pays.  

 

Should a client ask how you get paid we recommend saying the following - "We get paid a small commission, or introductory fee, from the supplier that you choose to go ahead with for your energy supply." Again it is useful to stress we don't add to the price that is being offered. 

The commissions that you get paid depend on what status you are within the business. Diverse Utility Solutions Partners are paid at the rate of 65% of the total commission.

Diverse Utility Solutions Associates are paid at the rate of 25% of the total commission. The commission is based on the clients annual usage and the total "uplift" that we place on a client's contact prices. 

So if you are a Partner of Diverse Utility Solutions and you sign a contract with a client and DUS get paid £1,000 for that client, we will pay you £650.
