Goal Setting

We strongly advise that you set goals within the business and revisit and amend them on a regular basis.

It is important to set goals as you are then able to track how well you are progression in achieving what is important to you.

Setting your own goals.

There are many ways to set your goals though we recommend setting personal goals that you wish to achieve, such as a holiday, retiring early, a home improvement, new car etc. Some good goals are not always financially driven, for example spend more time with the family, performing some charity work etc.

Short Term Goals - These are goals that you are wanting to achieve within the next 12 months that your business can assist you to achieve. This could be anything from reducing a debt, pay for a holiday, re- decorating etc.



Mid Term Goals - These are goals that you would like to achieve within the next 5 years. These goals can be what ever you wish. Within Diverse Utility Solutions the sky is the limit.,



Long Term Goals - These are goals that are your life-long dreams, such as your retirement, living abroad, your long term earnings, leaving a legacy etc. Where do you dream life could be in 5+ years time?



What do you need? - Make a list of all the things you need to do in order to achieve your goals. Whilst you are focusing on your Short term goals, always have your mid and long term goals in your vision and business strategy.


Your Input - What is your commitment in order to achieve your goals. What are you to compromise and how much effort are you willing to input into your business?

Once you have decided on your goals, focus on them and visualise how exactly you are going to get where you need to be.
The important thing is once you have set your goals, be accountable and let people know what your goals are.
People are a lot more likely to assist you in achieving your goals if they know what your goals are and why you want to achieve them.
