The second item that we need to perform a Waste Health Check is a copy of the client’s current waste bill which will allow us to gain information such as -
- Who is their current supplier?
- What the business is currently paying for waste disposal?
- What size bins the client currently has and what bins are required?
- How many bins does the client have for different streams of waste?
- What form of waste are they disposing of?
- How often are the bins are currently emptied?
- What is the weight limit on their current contract?
- Are they currently paying any overweight charges?
All this information is crucial if we are to provide a like for like quote, or even find alternative solution for the clients waste disposal.
It is also worth noting that we will quote one lift price. Some suppliers will give a low lift price but add bin rental, environmental charges, fuel/pick ups fees and a whole host of add on's. You need to be aware of this as your client may compare lift price without realising the extra hidden charges contained in their bill.
